A standard Fazakerley driveway takes us about 2 to 4 hours to clean. Our driveway cleaning flushes the moss, weeds and contaminated sand out of the joints, leaving the blocks clean and stable. We then come back once it’s dry to apply driveway sanding with fresh kiln-dried sand, and every job includes a free bin clean.
Those black spots are lichen, a fungus that roots deep into natural stone, and a standard rinse won’t shift them. Our patio cleaning uses a soft-wash biocide that penetrates the lichen and kills it at the root, then we rinse it away. If your patio’s surrounded by overgrown borders, garden restoration can clear them too.
Conifer needles are a nightmare for gutters, they build up fast and block the downpipes. We’d recommend gutter cleaning twice a year if you’ve got conifers nearby. Our vacuum system sucks everything out, including the fine debris hand-cleaning misses, and we check the downpipe outlets too. If the needles have stained your fascias, fascia cleaning removes the green streaks.
It’s not an emergency yet, but it will become one if water gets in. Moss holds moisture against the tiles, and when it freezes, it expands and lifts them. Our roof cleaning scrapes the moss off carefully and applies a biocide to stop it coming back, and we flag any loose or damaged tiles after the clean. The treatment lasts 3 to 5 years.
