If you’ve visited the H2O Restore site in the last few days, you’ll have noticed it looks a bit different. I’ve been quietly working away on a full rebuild for a while now, and it’s finally live. Thought I’d write a proper post about it rather than just let it appear without any explanation.
Why I bothered
The old site did the job, but it was starting to show its age. Slow to load on a phone, a bit clunky to actually get a quote from, and it didn’t really show off the areas we cover properly. Most people find us on their phone while they’re stood on their drive looking at the moss, so it needed to work properly there first and everything else second.
What’s actually changed
Every service now has its own proper page, so if you just want driveway cleaning or gutter cleaning you’re not wading through everything else to find the bit you’re after. Prices are clearer too, I’ve put rough starting figures on the pages so you’ve got an idea before you even message us.
I’ve also gone through and written proper local pages for the areas we cover, rather than the same page with the town name swapped out. If you’re in Bootle, Bromborough, or Ainsdale, that page should actually read like it’s about your area, because it is.
Quoting is quicker now
The WhatsApp route has always been the fastest way to get a price out of us, and that hasn’t changed. Send a couple of photos and you’ll usually hear back inside ten minutes. The new site just makes that button a lot easier to find, and the contact form’s been tidied up so it doesn’t ask you sixteen questions before you’ve even said what you need doing.
What hasn’t changed
Same 07469 539 068 number, same team, same 5.0 star rating that took years of hard graft to build up. The prices, the way we work, and the free bin clean that comes with every driveway or patio job are all exactly as they were. This was a facelift, not a change of who we are.
Frequently asked questions
Do my old bookmarks and links still work?
Mostly, yes. A handful of page addresses changed as part of the rebuild, but I’ve set up redirects so old links should still land you in the right place. If you ever hit a dead page, drop us a message and I’ll get it sorted.
Has anything changed with pricing?
No, prices are the same as they’ve always been. The new site just displays them more clearly on each service page instead of making you dig for them.
Can I still get a quote from a photo?
Yes, that’s still the quickest way. WhatsApp us a couple of photos of the driveway, patio, or whatever needs doing, and you’ll usually get a price back within about ten minutes.
Do you cover the same areas as before?
Yes, and the area coverage is actually clearer now than it was. Have a look at our areas page to check your postcode’s included, though honestly if you’re anywhere near Liverpool or the Wirral, we’ve probably already been on your street.
Will there be more blog posts like this?
There will, though most of them will be about actual cleaning topics rather than the website itself. This one’s a bit of an exception.
